A Grey Phalarope was THE highlight of the day.
Alan met Siobhan at Llandudno West Shore at 8am and they enjoyed a wonderful day out.

Great Orme, Llandudno – Shag, Cormorant, Common Guillemot, Turnstone, Great black backed Gull, Common Scoter flying past, Rock Pipit, Meadow Pipit, Stonechat, Chough flew over cliffs, Swallows.
RSPB Conwy first visit – Black-tailed Godwits right in front of hide, Dunlin, Redshank, Snipe, Little Grebe, Moorhen, Coot, Shoveler, Teal, Mallard, Little Egret, Goldfinch, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Great spotted Woodpecker briefly, Cetti’s Warbler heard singing.
East side of Foryd Bay, west of Caernarfon – GREY PHALAROPE, Curlew, Lapwing, Oystercatcher, Little Egret, Greylag Goose, Linnet, Starling, Black-headed Gull.
Lunch at Caernarfon Airport.
Foryd Bay – Brent Geese, Pintail, Wigeon, Teal, Red-breasted Merganser, Goosander, Mute Swan, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Lapwing, Ringed Plover, Knot, Dunlin, Curlew Sandpiper, Bar-tailed Godwit, Redshank, Greenshank, Turnstone, Kestrel, Great Crested Grebe.
RSPB Conwy second visit – 2 Curlew Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, Snipe, Black-tailed Godwit, Redshank, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Little Egret, Grey Heron, Little Grebe, Cormorant, Tufted Duck, Shoveler, Teal, Mallard, Pied Wagtail, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Blackbird.
