Estonia Migration calling
Nutcracker – a species high on our wanted list.
Early on Wednesday morning we fly to Estonia for five days of migration watching and we can’t wait! Huge numbers of birds will be moving south through, past and over Estonia and it will be thrilling to see so many birds pouring south. We will also be exploring forests for woodpeckers and grouse while scanning the sky for raptors, a wonderful mix of birds await.
We will do our best to keep you in touch with our adventures but are not sure how much access we will have to the internet. Do check out our Twitter feed @biggesttwitch which is often the quickest way for us to keep in touch when we are on the road.
White-tailed Eagles will be another highlight of Estonia.
